Nous attaquons le vibraphone (avec BEAUCOUP de micros). Wes est très efficace, très pro et aussi très sensible. Une belle version master est vite enregistrée. Nous ré-enregistrons alors une version intégrale de la guitare, et nous retaperons la D.I. avec les changements de pédales en direct. Il est tard, nous avons un titre dans la boite et deux jours pour finir les prises de l'album.
First day of work with Belle Arché Lou. One goal for these recordings is to keep their lively interpretations : thigh they have a nylon strings guitar, they use loads of guitar loops, and many different reverbs throughout a song - and I want to catch the acoustic in their music : the room sounds beautiful. First we realize the vibraphone's motor is broken, so Wes has to run to Lyon to get it fixed. Then after a long setup, we start working on the guitar one part at a time, so we don't ear the pedals switching on and off in the room. We get to a satisfying version but still lacks of natural feel.
We get to the vibes (with LOADS of micas). Wes is very efficient, very pro and still gives a beautiful version of the song. We quickly get to a master version. Then we re-record a one shot version of the guitar, and we'll re-amp the D.I. signal through the pedals afterward. It's late, we have one song done and two days to finish the album.
